Under a thin layer of soil, You can plant the card indoors or outdoors, in a garden or a planter. You can read more about how to plant and care for your seed paper on our page "How To Plant Seed Paper"
What kind of flowers will grow?
We use a colourful blend of 6 wildflower seeds, both annual and perennial, including Bird's Eye, Black Eyed Susan, Clarkia, Catchfly, Snapdragon, and Sweey Alyssum.
How long does the card last?
You can keep the card on display until you're ready to plant and enjoy the next phase of it's lifecycle. Seed paper doesn't have an expiry date, but after about 2 years the germination rates will start to slowly decline. Whether you decide to plant it, put it on display, or tuck away as a keepsake, it will be a beautiful reminder of the person who gave it to you.
Can I use any ink?
Absolutely! I would advise against colouring the entirety of the card with a sharpie - but any normal amount of writing with pen or pencil or even marker will be okay for the seeds.
