Naked Card Guarantee

The Good Card believes that everything we create should have a second life - this means it should either be reusable, or recyclable. In line with this belief, we’ve taken the Naked Card Pledge, to stop using single use cello plastic wrap on our cards.

The plastic cello wrapping is typically used on greeting cards and other paper goods as an extra method of protection during shipping, in the case the package gets wet. Ensuring your cards arrive to you in perfect condition, and that you are happy with your purchase is our top priority, but the negatives of single use plastic outweigh the positives. So we’ve taken other measures:

1. All packages are shipped in thick, industrial, ‘indestructo’ mailers that not only prevent any kind of bending, but also provide a larger barrier against any water damage
2. We protect the cards from damage by stuffing with recycled or reused kraft paper
3. While water damage in post is rare, in the case of any damage in transit, our cards come with a Naked Card Guarantee, and we will replace and reship to you for free – just email us (ashley@thegoodcard.ca) within 48 hours and attach a photo of the damaged shipment

We will continue to ship wholesale, bulk, and custom orders in plastic wrapping that has been saved and reused from other shipments we have received. We encourage you to also save and reuse the shipping materials you receive from us, or please recycle!
